Event merch for IFX EXPO Venue Limassol | Merch Cyprus

Branded merchandise for fintech and FX conferences at the IFX EXPO Venue in Limassol — delegate kits, sponsor giveaways, VIP gifts and booth branding.

IFX EXPO as an event series

IFX EXPO International is one of the largest fintech and FX conferences in the world, with annual editions in Limassol and other major hubs. The Limassol edition attracts 3,000–5,000 delegates from brokers, payment processors, technology providers and regulatory bodies. Exhibitors need premium, business-oriented merchandise that works for senior decision-makers and the broader trade audience. This page covers how we approach event merch for IFX EXPO exhibitors and sponsors.

The IFX EXPO audience

IFX EXPO delegates are senior decision-makers from the FX, fintech and crypto industries. The audience is international, professional and brand-aware.

Senior decision-makers: founders, CEOs, CTOs, head traders, compliance officers. The merchandise needs to be premium, business-appropriate and well-branded. Common items: leather portfolios, branded pens, USB drives with company content, premium tech accessories.

Trade visitors: industry professionals, sales teams, marketing staff. The merchandise is more standard but still premium. Common items: branded tote bags, notebooks, pens, water bottles, screen cleaners.

Speakers and VIPs: top-tier names in the industry, regulatory officials, keynote speakers. The merchandise is the highest tier: engraved leather sets, premium gift boxes, limited-edition items. Common items: full-grain leather briefcases, engraved pens, premium wireless chargers, Cypriot wine in branded boxes.

Trade fair essentials for fintech exhibitors

Beyond giveaways, fintech exhibitors need operational merchandise for the expo itself: staff apparel, signage, demonstration items and packaging.

Staff apparel: branded T-shirts, polos, jackets and lanyards for the stand team. The apparel is typically in the company's brand colours with the company logo on the chest. For a fintech brand with a strong colour identity, the apparel is a brand statement.

Signage: pull-up banners, table flags, name badges and branded tablecloths. We produce these in Cyprus for quick turnaround and easy replacement if damaged during the expo.

Demonstration items: branded product samples, demonstration kits and tester items. For fintech, common demos include: branded screen cleaners, charging cables, USB drives with product demos, and wireless chargers with the company logo.

Packaging: branded carrier bags for purchases, gift boxes for VIP meetings, and courier packaging for follow-up deliveries. We produce these in advance and ship to the stand before the expo opens.

Regulatory and compliance considerations

Fintech exhibitors at IFX EXPO must comply with CySEC, FCA, ASIC and other regulatory requirements on marketing materials and inducements. The merchandise falls within the scope of these rules.

Inducement rules: many jurisdictions restrict the value and nature of gifts that financial firms can give to clients or potential clients. The FCA in the UK and CySEC in Cyprus have specific thresholds (typically £50 / €50 for gifts per recipient per year). We help clients design merchandise programmes that respect these thresholds.

Marketing approval: many fintech firms require marketing or compliance approval of branded merchandise before distribution. The approval covers the design, the value and the messaging. We provide mock-ups and spec sheets for client approval.

Record-keeping: regulated firms must keep records of inducements given to clients or potential clients. We provide despatch records and value declarations for the firm's compliance file.

Languages and cultural considerations

IFX EXPO attracts delegates from across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas. The merchandise needs to work across these audiences.

English is the standard language for IFX EXPO. For European delegates, additional languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian) are occasionally included. For Middle Eastern delegates (a growing audience at IFX EXPO), we add Arabic text and consider Islamic-compliant merchandise (no alcohol, no pork-derived materials).

Cultural considerations: the IFX audience is international and brand-aware. The merchandise should be sophisticated, professional and globally appropriate. Avoid aggressive colours, culturally specific imagery, or material that could be misinterpreted.

Gift-giving conventions: in some cultures (Japan, China, parts of the Middle East), gift-giving has specific conventions around wrapping, presentation and reciprocity. We can adapt the packaging and the presentation to meet these conventions for clients targeting specific markets.

Case studies from IFX EXPO Limassol

Three programmes we have run for exhibitors at IFX EXPO Limassol.

1. CySEC-regulated broker, premium sponsorship. Branded leather portfolios (engraved with the recipient's name), premium pens (engraved), branded wireless chargers and VIP gift sets. 1,000 units across the standard and VIP tiers. The broker's branding was prominent on the leather portfolio; the VIP sets included a Cypriot Commandaria wine in a wooden box.

2. Fintech payment processor, main floor exhibitor. Branded tote bags (recycled cotton), notebooks, pens, USB drives (with the company's product demo), screen cleaners and charging cables. 2,000 units for the main floor. The tote bag was the most popular item, with a strong brand recall on the show floor.

3. Technology provider, booth demo equipment. Custom branded demo tablets, branded screen protectors, branded travel organisers and a small giveaway (branded stress ball). 500 units. The technology provider's demo equipment was the main draw; the merchandise was the takeaway.

What we will and will not do

For clarity, the list below sets out what we will and will not do in relation to IFX EXPO.

We are an external merchandise supplier. We coordinate with the expo organiser and the exhibitor. We do not represent IFX EXPO, imply any partnership with the conference, or speak on behalf of the conference's organising team.

We deliver merchandise to exhibitor booths, place it where agreed, and collect surplus merchandise after the expo. We do not handle IFX EXPO's own branded merchandise, the expo's official gift shop, or the expo's internal staff merchandise.

We do not imply any official status with the conference. Our descriptions refer to IFX EXPO by name only; we do not use terms such as 'partner of IFX EXPO', 'official supplier of IFX EXPO', or 'in-house merch at IFX EXPO'.
